The virus called COVID-19 is a very serious virus in the air all over the world. There have been a number of people who have died from it, and even more who have gotten extremely sick from it and are still alive. So we should respect, but should not fear, this virus.
In Isaiah 41:9 & 10, we are told, "...I have said,‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." God Himself says we are His!! How precious is that?! That alone can comfort our souls.
You are precious to God (Ephesians 2:4). So anything that happens in your future will not harm your eternal life (which, honestly, is the only life that truly matters). So, take a deep breath, and know that God has you safely in the palm of His mighty hand.
Like so many churches around the world, the doors to Good News Fellowship (GNF) were closed. Some of us have since returned (wearing masks and distancing), and are together praising our Creator.
But inside of those doors is not where the church is. The "church" is all of the members; the "church" is those who have joined our church family. The "church" is all the children who come to that building on Sabbath and the "church" is each and every lover of Him. And it is of highest importance for us to remember that.
We love and miss our church family members who still are not able to come worship with the rest of us. Even though some of us have begun getting together again, there are those who are not able to join us, for various reasons. If you're one of our "missing" members, please know how deeply we miss you and we cannot wait until the day we are all together again!
